Instrumental Music Program Summer Soiree

Last night, students of the Instrumental Music Program and their families gathered at school for the Summer Soiree.

Five spaces around the school had been prepared as performance venues, so that each music tutor could run their own concert.

We had small group and solo items on guitars, recorders, violins, percussion, clarinet, flute and saxophone. 

A wonderful celebration, with grade 1s in groups, playing with all their might at their very first Summer Soiree, and grade 6s playing fine solos in their very last Summer Soiree! 

The Summer Soiree is always place to be inspired, and the audience clapped loudly to show their support.

Then we all met in the hall to hear the School Music Groups play. There was a range of music represented by The Lee Street Choir, String Ensemble, Junior Recorder Ensemble, Senior Recorder Ensemble and The Lee Street Band.
