Wellbeing

We've had a bustling start to term 4! With exams, a series of fun excursions, and outdoor programs taking full advantage of the warmer weather, the school community has been active and engaged.

We also have a few goodbyes this term. Our talented Master of Art Therapy placement student, Sophie, has been a fantastic addition to our team, bringing creativity and compassion to her role. We’ll miss her immensely but wish her the best for her next placement!

Navigating the teenage years can be challenging, but help is on the way! We’re pleased to announce the Talking Teens’ program, a free online course designed to provide practical strategies for parenting teens. Over four weeks, this program will address common challenges and offer advice to make this phase a little smoother.

Program Details:

  • When: Thursday nights from 6:00 - 7:30 pm, starting November 14th and running through December 5th
  • Where: Online sessions for your convenience
  • Cost: Free, but bookings are essential

For any questions, feel free to reach out to ParentZone Northern at 03 8641 8900.

We would also like to promote the Banyule Community Health financial counselling and emergency relief services. The lead up to the end of the year is a challenging financial time for many families. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Banyule Community Health who have a range of support they can offer.

Please reach out to the wellbeing team if you need any support or would like to know about what support services are available to you in the community via our school number 9459 0222.
