Sleep researchers suggest that a child (5 - 17 years) needs between nine to eleven hours of uninterrupted sleep every night. However, in Australia, most children only get about 6.5 - 7.5 hours sleep per night, and some get even less.
ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING
Track how many hours sleep you get each night and discuss strategies to improve the amount of sleep and sleep quality you get.
