Changes to funding for student supplies
Unfortunately we have received a further update from the Department which clarifies that parents will NOT be able to use the Student Saver Bonus to purchase school stationery supplies. You will be receiving information shortly that details exactly what you will be able to use these funds for (camps, excursions, uniform, etc). For now though it is important to understand that you will need to go ahead and order your Student Supplies as you normally do. Please read the information on Compass carefully and note that orders through Campion must be placed prior to 11th December in order to take advantage of the discounted delivery cost and guarantee of delivery by 24th January.
2024 Premiers' Reading Challenge
The certificates for those students who completed the challenge this year will be handed out at assembly tomorrow (Friday 22nd November).
Uniform Price increase: 1 November
PSW have confirmed their price increase across our whole uniform range from 1st November 2024.

Request for Second Hand Uniform Donations
At the end of this term the PPA will hold our final second hand uniform sale for 2024.
We are asking for second hand uniform donations for these two events. Families wishing to donate can drop clean, wearable, uniform with School Logo to the school office.
The sale will take place on Friday 13th December from 2.45-3.30pm.
Scholastic Book Club – Issue 8 out now
The Book Club Issue 8 magazine (the final one for 2024!) will be sent home with your child this week.
The due date for Issue 8 orders is Monday 2nd December 2024.
Ordering from Book Club is easy! Simply go online and place your order using LOOP online or using the app:

- Look up “Scholastic” on the App Store or Google Play to find “Book Club Loop for Parents”
As always, you can continue to order from this issue after the school close off date, but delivery of the books will be made directly to your home and not to school (and will incur a charge of $10).

100 years - pin badge/Centenary Parkdale Primary School Cookbook
Our commemorative pin badges are still on sale for $5 and our Centenary cookbook for $30. Both items can be ordered via Qkr! (under the 'Centenary Keepsake' tab) and will be issued at the end of each week to the student whose name they have been ordered under. Alternatively you can pop in and buy a badge from the office (card payments only please).
