School News Show

Our Year 5 potential leaders for 2025 have been preparing and presenting our school news show for the past few weeks.  The broadcasts have been live and have included segments about getting to know our Year 5s, fun facts, jokes and riddles and interviews of other students and interesting things they have been up to.  The students are getting a true sense of what being a school leader is and honing their skills in organisation, public speaking and showing commitment and initiative.

Holy Family Village

Our Year 5 students have also been busy 'managing' our shops in our playground village.  Alternative activities outside in the playground away from the 'sports' and play on equipment gives children another avenue to converse and connect socially with their peers.  Thank you to our potential leaders who are taking on this role to assist this way of play.
