LITERACY 

Prep C - River G - For wonderful effort in writing. It is great to see you trying so hard sounding out and using your common words to help you. Well done River, keep it up!  

1/2A - Will M - For developing such great independence within your writing. Keep up the amazing work!! 

3/4A - Jarviah H - For retelling, in detail, the important information of a text. You retell with great enthusiasm. Well done. 

5/6C - Tayah C - For her wonderful handwritten film review of ‘Matilda’. She was able to summarise the plot and analyse the characters, setting and themes. Well done!

 

 

NUMERACY

Prep C - Zarah J - Your ability to give and follow instructions that allowed you and others to succeed at building identical block creations. Well done superstar!

1/2A - Savannah G - For wanting to challenge yourself in maths this week. I am super proud of all you have achieved! 

3/4A - Archie S - For giving recent Maths assessments a red hot go. Your results have shown how your hard work has paid off. Awesome work Arch. 

56C - Amalie K - For her ability to work independently during our maths sessions.  You’re a wonderful mathematician, Amalie!

AUSTRALIAN MATHS COMPETITION

In term 3, 18 of our amazing students participated in the Australian Maths Competition. These students put their hand up to participate in the online test to compete against other students throughout Victoria. We had an incredible amount of students receive excellent results including 2 students who were in the top 20% of the state.! Well done to all the Easties who gave it their best shot. We look forward to having our students participate in the competition next year.
