PARISH PASTORAL VISIT BY BISHOP MARTIN ASHE 

Bishop Martin Ashe, Auxiliary Bishop for the Western Region, will be visiting our parish between Friday 6 December to Sunday 8 December 2024. His visit will include visiting our Primary Schools, meeting our Parishioners and Leadership Groups, and formally installing Fr Gerald as Parish Priest. 

 

You are invited to meet the Bishop at the following events:

 

Friday 6 December 2024 

  • 9:00 AM Mass Our Lady’s Church, Maidstone

 Saturday 7 December 2024 

  • 8:00 AM Mass at Christ the King Church, Braybrook, followed by Breakfast/Morning tea
  • 10.30 AM – All Parishioner Forum (No Clergy) dialogue with Bishop Martin Ashe in the Large Hall, followed by light lunch
  • 5.00 PM Vigil Mass Our Lady’s Church Maidstone followed by Volunteer Christmas Party (All welcome) in the Large Hall

 Sunday December 8 

  • 10.30 AM Parish Priest Installation Mass - Our Lady’s Church, Maidstone, followed by light lunch in the Large Hall (Note: 8.00AM OL , 9.30 AM CTK, 10 AM OL, 11.30AM Vietnamese are cancelled that morning)
  • 5.00 PM Mass at Christ the King Church, Braybrook

 

EDGE Youth Ministry Program

 

 

 

 

EDGE aims to provide youths with a safe and enjoyable place to explore their Catholic faith, get their questions answered, and to encounter the love of Jesus in a deep and profound way.

 

Held Friday fortnightly during school term.

Adoration for Vocation is on every Thursday

There will also be the Sacrament of Reconciliation - A Priest will be available to hear confessions.

Time: 3.00pm to 4.00pm

Location: Alternating between Christ the King and Our Lady's churches.
