Year 5/6

Year 5 Fun Day

We had a great time at Lancefield Park for our Year 5 fun day and the weather cooperated too! We spent some time on our 'Year 6 Team readiness for 2025' in amongst the activity and relaxing.

We really enjoyed it because we were with our friends, and we did something different. Liv and Mikayla

We had a fun day at the park being year 5s and nearly year 6s!!!! Bailey and Lachie

It was good being together and a bit of a look at what next year is going to be like too! We're excited about how next year will happen and it was nice to celebrate this year too. Zach and Arturo

It was different from a "normal" school day and an opportunity to work like a Year 6 might. It was relaxing to watch a movie and munch on popcorn to celebrate the end (almost) of this year together. Ella and Sophie

Show-Stopping Concert Performances

Wow! What an unforgettable evening at this year’s End of Year Concert. The audience was blown away by the energy and enthusiasm in performances of 9 to 5 and Welcome to the 60s. Our talented students worked tirelessly to bring these songs to life, delivering confident and vibrant performances. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this night such a huge success – we are so proud of our students!

Year 6 Graduation Plans Underway

Our Year 6 students have been busily preparing for their upcoming graduation. From creating speeches to rehearsing for the ceremony, they’ve been working hard to ensure this milestone event is a memorable one. This is a special time for our graduating students, and we can’t wait to celebrate their achievements with families and friends as they prepare to embark on their next big adventure.

Gardening Project: Weed Identification

In the garden, students have been honing their observational skills by learning to identify a wide variety of weeds. Our budding botanists are creating a whole-school weed reference collection, which will serve as a valuable resource for future gardening activities. It’s been wonderful to see students connecting with nature while developing their knowledge of plant species and how they impact our garden beds.

Year 6 Fun Day at Funfields

On Wednesday, our Year 6 students enjoyed a well-deserved Fun Day at Funfields! The day was filled with laughter, thrilling rides, and the chance to bond with classmates one final time before graduation. From the water slides to the pirate ship, it was a day packed with adventure and unforgettable memories.

Year 5 buddies!

Our year 5’s had their first session with their new buddies for 2025 this week. All students demonstrated excellent leadership skills and engaged beautifully with their new little buddies. We can’t wait to see their friendships blossom next year!
