Year 3/4

We have done some very cool stuff this year in the 3/4 classrooms. This week we asked the students to identify some of their highlights from 2024. Here’s what they had to say:

 

Matilda

 In 2024 my favourite things we did were learning about the Middle Ages, camp, and vertical addition and subtraction.

Remi

The highlight of my year was writing and learning about Pompeii, Makers Empire, camp Toolangi, and 360 All Stars. I enjoyed those things because they fascinated me and got me excited about learning.

Mikayla

My favorite part of the year was everything because I could not decide.

Kaylee

This year, two highlights were the Nim’s Island book and movie, also the Storm Boy movie.

Viola

My highlight of the year is learning about mythical creatures and Nessie in Scotland, also hearing some of the hoaxes.

Sofia

My highlights of the year are camp, IMAX, and Soup + Slippers because they were all amazing and had at least one exciting thing about them.

Archer

My highlight of the year was The Book of Boy—I really enjoyed it.

Henry

My highlight of the year was the Middle Ages because I loved learning about Harold’s team and Joan of Arc. Another highlight was camp because it was fun, with lots to do, and the food was perfect.

Lacey

My highlight of the year was Mastermind and Travis being my teacher.

Linkyn

My highlight of the year, I have two: Pompeii and Hastings/Middle Ages. I had a lot of fun, but I liked the Middle Ages the most.

Jessica

My highlight of the year is watching the movie Nim’s Island, performing on stage, and doing Auslan with 3/4W and 3/4T.

My highlight of the year was the space project.

My highlight of the year is Talha and camp.

Harley

My highlights of the year are Kryal Castle and camp because they were so fun and interesting.

Max

My highlight of the whole year was the human body and poetry.

Amelia

My highlights of the year are Pompeii, the Middle Ages, and Makers Empire.

My highlights are going to camp and Makers Empire.

My highlight of the year was Trav being my teacher.

Lucy

The three highlights of the year for me were: Camp Toolangi because I loved abseiling, Storm Boy because it’s so descriptive, and character strengths because I love learning about myself and others.

Savannah

My highlight of the year was going to 360 All Stars. My favorite act was the person with the hoop.

Aubin

My highlight of the year was kitchen and gardening because it felt nice to be outside in the fresh air, full of one of my favourite things... food!

Ayla

This year, I enjoyed everything, even Wiley and Travis. It has been so good to be in your class this year.

Jaxson

My highlight of the year was cooking and gardening. I like to be outside in the fresh air and eating food.

Esther

I loved all the novels and all the places we went. I just love school!

Rowan

My highlights of the year are camp, Makers Empire, and making my own quiz.

Spencer

My highlight of the year was camp, PE, and ICT.

Tresne

I enjoyed going on excursions with everyone and appreciate Travis for being my teacher. I also liked camp because it was fun and safe!

Archer

I enjoyed the Middle Ages topic and Kryal Castle.

My highlight of the year was doing Makers Empire and going to camp in Toolangi.

I enjoyed writing stories and learning about Pompeii.

My highlight of the year is probably excursions and ICT because they were challenging but fun.

My highlight of the year was going to Kryal Castle, and my favourite part was camp. I also liked Makers Empire.

I liked the 360 All Stars performance and enjoyed Soup and Slippers Day because the soup was delicious.

My highlights of the year were Kahoot and camp for the cool activities and the kindness of the staff.

My highlight of the year is Camp Toolangi.

My highlight is the Middle Ages because we went to Kryal Castle.

The highlight of the year was Camp Toolangi and The Book of Boy because it thrills me with excitement every time, and Camp Toolangi was a fun adventure.
