Principal’s Message

Dear parents and community members,
Over the past two weeks, our school community came together for one of the most exciting events of the term: our Student-Led Conferences. These special sessions allowed our students to take immense pride in stepping into the lead role to showcase their growth, hard work, and favourite achievements. It was great to see so many families gathered to celebrate their children’s learning. If you missed this fantastic event last fortnight, please reach out to your child's teacher so we can arrange a dedicated time for your child to share their proudest moments with you.
Despite our small size, our school community consistently achieves incredible things, a spirit that was on full display at the recent ACS Diocesan Athletics Carnivals. Our PTF Association generously volunteered to run the canteen for both the Primary and Secondary Carnivals, serving well over a thousand students and families over two days. This remarkable dedication is what makes Sacred Heart School so special. Thank you to every single person who volunteered their time to help make the event such a success!
Congratulations to Indy, Archer, Charlie, and Laurie, who were elected by their peers as our Semester Two Living Well Learning Well Representatives! They were presented with their badges at our recent assembly and I am sure they will lead their class with pride, enthusiasm and care.
This week, we said a fond farewell to Mrs Cathy Walters, who joined our 3–6 classroom at the beginning of the year. Cathy brought much knowledge, skill, and care to our students and staff, and she will be dearly missed around our school. The Sacred Heart School community warmly wishes Cathy and her family all the very best for her next chapter.
Warm regards,
Leanne Herden
Principal
