Women's Day On Country
On March 13th, our students had the privilege of attending a special International Women's Day event hosted by the Tamworth Aboriginal Land Council at the Botanical Gardens. The day provided a unique opportunity for students to learn about the important contributions of Aboriginal women, both past and present, and their ongoing impact in the community. It was an enriching experience filled with cultural insights, inspiring stories, and a time to connect culturally as a community. A heartfelt thank you to the Tamworth Aboriginal Land Council for organising such a meaningful event, and we look forward to more opportunities for our students to engage with and learn from the Tamworth Aboriginal Land Council and community.
