Wear it Wild day

Our Wear it Wild day was a HUGE success. Thank you to all the students and staff who dressed up- you all looked fantastic! Thank you also to everyone who donated gold coins or online. A big shout out to the family that donated $350 to our fundraiser- we greatly appreciate your generosity. All your donations big and small helped us to raise just over $1100 to help endangered wildlife.

By raising over $750 we are now eligible to adopt a 'mystery' animal! We will also receive a certificate from WWF for our participation. It will be very exciting to see what animal the World Wildlife Foundation allocates us and hopefully will have our new friend at the office soon.

By participating in Wear it Wild day we have also completed several actions in our Resource Smart Schools portal. ResourceSmart Schools is a free program offered by Sustainability Victoria that supports Victorian schools to embed sustainability across the school facilities, community and curriculum, while saving resources and money for the school. Currently we are working on our ‘Core’, ‘Biodiversity’ and ‘Waste’ modules. When we complete all 5 modules we will become a Five Star Sustainable school.

Happy Easter break everyone! Enjoy these top tips from Clean up Australia for a sustainable Easter.
