MaST/LoP Workshop: Building Mathematical Minds

Learning Goals:

This workshop is designed to provide an in-depth exploration of the Great Maths Learning Sequence, specifically focusing on activating prior knowledge and implementing guided and independent practice phases. MaSTs and LoPs, will enhance their understanding of how cognitive science principles intersect with effective mathematics pedagogy. Through a combination of interactive activities, collaborative discussions, and practical demonstrations, the workshop aims to equip educators with research-based tools to better support teachers and students in the classroom.

Big Write / VCOP Resources

To support and sustain our work in the writing space ACS have provided access to Platinum Andrell Accounts. 

The resources are valuable and include:

• Writing prompt bundles, VCOP games, oral language warm ups, templates for special occasions, posters, videos, lesson plans, third teacher supports, warm ups and graphic organisers.

Details have been sent to Principals, Assistant Principals and Leaders of Pedagogy on how to access these accounts.
