Leadership Centre

Highlight

Salamat Siang,

This week has been an exciting week for the leadership centre. We had some special guests from the Hawthorn Hawks footy team come to visit us for a Q&A session on Tuesday. Students had lots of fun asking questions and finding some facts about the players that they might not have known before.

Another highlight from the week was our Guided Inquiry day. Students created a slideshow and printed out a map and brochure for their fellow peers of our school to explore and see. We look forward to showcasing our wonderful work to the school, in week 10, the last week of term 1!

In Maths, we explored function machines and special numbers, where we stepped out of our comfort zones and challenged ourselves with work we wouldn’t usually do. Another way we stepped out of our comfort zones was when we were doing wellbeing. The teachers chose our groups and we had to work with people who we wouldn’t want to work with. We played some board games with our groups, having lots of fun and pushing us out of our comfort zones.
