Disability Inclusion - 2025
Our school is excited to announce the introduction of new initiatives to enhance support for students with disabilities. The Disability Inclusion program aims to help us better understand and meet the needs of our students, ensuring they can learn and fully participate in school. This initiative includes:
- A new Disability Inclusion Profile and funding model to strengthen support for students with disabilities.
- Increased resources, training, and coaching for our teachers and school staff on effective strategies to support students with disabilities.
The Disability Inclusion Profile will help us identify students' strengths, needs, and necessary educational adjustments, enabling us to offer tailored support. This profile replaces the previous Program for Students with Disabilities (PSD) application process.
Through this new approach, our school will receive additional funding to invest in teacher training, professional development, expert advice, and resources to better support students. This will ensure our teachers and staff are well-equipped to plan and implement the changes needed to support students with disabilities and additional learning needs.
We are thrilled to be part of Disability Inclusion and look forward to continuing to help our students thrive. If you would like more information about this program, please feel free to contact Jonny Hobbs at the school.
