Father’s Day Breakfast, Stall & Liturgy

As communicated earlier this week, we will be celebrating Father’s Day on Friday, 30th August.

The P & F will hold a BBQ Breakfast starting at 7:30 am and a Stall starting at approx. 9:15 am, with gifts available for your child to purchase for $5 and $10. This will then be followed by a Liturgy held at school at 2:15 pm. All are welcome to attend!

Vouchers for your child to use for the Father’s Day Stall can be purchased online via bit.ly/4fxRMtV by 11:59 pm the day before on Thursday, 29th August, or, alternatively, cash can be used on the day.

If you can join us for Breakfast, please complete the following RSVP via bit.ly/46Pequ5 by Sunday, 25th August and if you are available to volunteer on the day to help with either the BBQ or stall, please complete the following form via bit.ly/3WzrwXj by selecting the event, date and start time.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Book Week Parade & Book Stall

This year, our Book Week Celebration will be held on Friday 6th September, starting at 9:15 am. Your child is invited to dress up as a book character or in a costume to match the 2024 Book Week theme, “Reading is Magic”.

Please note that the later date is due to clashes with our Stage 3 Sydney Excursion.

Two small prizes will be awarded in each class for Best Costume and Costume that displays the Children’s Book Council of Australia theme.

After the parade, families are invited to join us for a picnic morning tea, with tea and coffee provided from the Canteen. Parents are also asked to pack food to share with their child/children.

Finally, we will also be holding a Book Fair during the day for parents and children to purchase books under the COLA area. EFTPOS will be available.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Have fun preparing your costumes!

School Hat Reminder: No Hat, No Play!

Please ensure your child is bringing their school hat each day. We are a sun-safe school and encourage all children to wear it during playtime.

Please also note that caps are not permitted on uniform days.
