Principal Reflections
Dear Parents and Carers,
The Role of School Fees in Our Catholic School
Our Catholic School is not just an educational institution; it is a community built on shared values and a commitment to the holistic development of every child. To provide the high standard of education, facilities, and programs that we offer, we rely heavily on the financial contributions made by our families through school fees.
Regular, ongoing payment of school fees is essential for the smooth operation of our school. When fees are paid on time, it allows us to plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring that all aspects of the school can run without interruption.
I understand that some families may face financial difficulties, and we encourage anyone in this situation to please make contact with us.
I would like to thank you for your ongoing commitment to our school community. Your contributions through school fees are not just payments; they are investments in your child’s future and in the future of our community. Together, we can continue to provide an environment where every child can thrive academically, spiritually, and personally.
Uniform
With the weather warming up we have decided that we will accommodate a transition period with school uniform. We ask that parents support the school by ensuring that their child is wearing school or sport uniform in full on the designated days. Please see the infographic below for details.
Book Week
This year's Book Week theme, "Reading is Magic” encourages readers to explore diverse stories that foster personal growth and creativity. It celebrates the power of books to expand our horizons and inspire positive change. Through reading, individuals are empowered to grow intellectually and emotionally, shaping a brighter future for themselves and others. A big thank you to Carla Michell for all her work in preparing and leading our book week activities.
Annual School Survey
Next Monday 26th August parents will receive an email from Survey My School. The survey questions have been updated and there are fewer questions this year. I encourage all families to participate, as your input is important to our school planning. Responses are confidential, and individuals cannot be identified. We use the results to strive to provide the best possible education for your children. The survey will close on Wednesday 4th September.
Until next week,
Keep smiling,
Alison Hatton
