2024 Parliamentary Convention

Following a number of breakfast and lunchtime meetings, 5 intrepid junior Parliamentarians battled it out for 2 days on Zoom debating the topic: Should technological advancements, such as AI, be incorporated into the classroom? There were AI experts, Kahoots, soapbox sessions and breakout rooms with 11 other government and non-government school students but all came together in the end with collaboration and teamwork.

"I really enjoyed getting to head off into the breakout rooms to have more personal discussions and listen to what other students thought while also getting to share my opinion in a safe and comfortable setting". (Jade)

"One of the things that I thoroughly enjoyed about this program was the guest speaker of Chris Bush from Uni High. His insight on incorporating artificial intelligence in the classroom was extremely insightful and inspiring". (Tig)
