From The Wellbeing Team

Recognising and addressing mental health struggles among young people is critical for their overall wellbeing and academic success. Headspace have summarised the signs and symptoms below that may indicate that your young person is struggling with their mental health, and provides tips on how you can provide support.

Upcoming Events - R U OK? Day

Next Thursday 12th September is R U OK? Day, a national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone that every day is the day to ask, 'are you OK?' and support those struggling with life's ups and downs.

Our student leaders have organised a poster competition, created a video, and will be handing out yellow ribbon for students to wear to raise awareness and encourage others to start a meaningful conversation and check in with friends.

We encourage all members of our community to reach out to family, friends, colleagues, and teammates not just next week, but every day.
