Parent Voice – School Reports
Recently in our school review we asked the reviewer to ask parents for feedback on our current reporting system. Leadership and staff at Edenhope College are always looking for better ways to give feedback to students and families. The parent voice that come from our recent review is that they feel ongoing feedback during the semester would be more beneficial than one large report at the end of the semester. The parent feedback confirmed what we were thinking and during Term 4 we will be looking at other schools reporting systems to identify what would best support our students and families moving forward. We will look to progressive reporting and family communication during the semester and a progression point report (no comments), end of semester report. When we find the best reporting program and introduce it, we will monitor parents/students and staff feedback looking for the best outcomes for our students.
