Netball Victoria

Congratulations to Gemma Meadley (Year 10) for being selected as one of just 25 players in the Under 17 Victorian Netball team squad! As one of only four defenders, Gemma's dedication and talent are inspiring. We wish her the best of luck in making the final team and commend her as an excellent example of hard work and passion.

SSV Regionals Girls Intermediate Soccer

Congratulations to the SSV Girls Intermediate Soccer Team for coming to runner-up in the Regional competition on Thursday 15th August. The girls came into the competition undefeated! They only lost one game in the whole competition! We are very proud of all members of the team. 

Thank you for coming together as you did under tricky circumstances. You have all played very well and with each game, you all improved and rose again! We have had two wonderful days. The main thing that stood out was how you played as a team. You were working together to pass the ball to each other, you were constantly communicating with each other and most of all you were helping each other to be better on the field. Well done! Wheelchair Basketball

The year 9 students had an absolute ball (no pun intended) playing wheelchair basketball today. They demonstrated perseverance, with a lot of them experiencing what it's like to be in a wheelchair for the first time. They were encouraging and supporting each other; giving each other advice for the best ways to turn, gain speed, or bounce the basketball accurately.
