P&C Update

Mrs Erin Williams - P&C President

As Term 3 heads into its second half, we have seen the Tuckshop break records in new menu items, with International Week, Olympics celebrations and EKKA week. Most popular items will become regular fare for the tuckshop going forward.

Put 29th August in your diaries – Father’s Day Games Night enters its second year. Watch out for tickets opening this week. The Gap Games is creating a multi room games event for fathers/carers and their kids. There will be a delicious dinner as part of the ticket price, plus drinks to buy and a lot of activities and fun for all.

Our senior farewell TULA concert was on Tuesday night. As always, the talent on display was incredible, with every ensemble playing beautifully, with a finale from the award winning Asymmetry. It was great to see all the support with a full crowd. It seems everyone has gotten the message that there is food and drinks, as we sold out in record time. We will make sure there is even more food and red wine for the next one.

Our next meeting is Monday 9th September at 7pm – not in the library like usual, but in the LTC behind the JI Building. I recommend parking near the oval, entry from first driveway past The Gap Village.
