2024 College Ball

Oh, what a fabulous night! All the students and staff had a wonderful time dancing and celebrating the 2024 College Ball at the Parmelia Hilton on Saturday 31 August 2024. The decorations with the theme of Casino Royal, saw the ball room filled with lights, vases of diamonds and feathers.

Our students walked in on the red carpet after a mocktail, and listened to Head students Jake and Kayla intro the students and their guests, the running list of events and other "housekeeping" This was followed by an interesting rendition of Happy Birthday sung to Jake who was turning 18 on the night. 

Our students and their guests really outdid themselves in their outfits, dresses, suits and even the odd tuxedo. Sequins, toile and beautiful satin in a range of colours, just lit up the room even more. The DJ for the evening EFF Sharpe, was perfect and was soon playing a great mix of contemporary, classics and a little country. The music coupled with the outfits and lights bouncing off the disco balls was gorgeous. Many students and a lot of guests commented on the evening as "one of the best" school balls they have been to. It was great to see so many parents come and say hello, as they made their way to the P&C Evening.

Year 12 Dinner

Next Tuesday, 10 September 2024, we have our Year 12 Dinner at the Grass Valley Tavern. This is where we take our year 12s out for dinner and celebrate in a relaxed atmosphere. This is a school event, and all students must catch the bus with us there and back to the College. Students are allowed to leave after the dinner from the College if they have been signed off from all teachers, boarding staff and Mrs Berbari. Neat casual is the dress code and we have a choice of a Chicken Parmigiana, Muster Burger or Fish and Chips with soft drink. We need to have all orders in by Wednesday morning for catering.
