Head Start Newsletter Item

Congratulations to the Westall SC Year 12 School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeships (SBAT) students who are completing their SBAT with the Head Start Program.  They have all worked hard throughout the year in balancing the demands of secondary school with the demands of their chosen workforce and trade school studies.

Westall’s Head Start Coordinator, Jane Jamieson and the Head Start Bayside Peninsula Area (BPA) team wish the students the best of luck as they complete their SBAT and transfer to their full-time apprenticeships.

As they graduate from Westall Secondary College, they are well on their way to a successful career by completing their apprenticeships early. We hope they achieve every success in the future.

Exploring Trade Options Dat at Holmesglen Institute

Earlier this term, Year 10 student going into VCE Vocational Major studies in 2025 had the opportunity to explore trade options with Jane Jamieson (Head Start Coordinator) and Mrs. Koka at Holmesglen Institute. Students visited two Holmesglen Institute campuses and were able to get involved with a variety of activities on the day.
