The Library Shelf

Welcome back! We would like to extend an especially warm welcome to our new students and families for 2025. Now that the year is well underway, I would like to introduce you to the school library and let you know a little about us. If your children have not yet discovered the library, encourage them to pop in sometime; we are open before school, during lunchtime and after school and are a popular place for a variety of activities from reading, studying, or playing a quiet card or board game with friends.

We are blessed to have a terrific library with shelves full of the latest titles, but if there is something we don’t have, students are encouraged to come to us with suggestions. We also have a huge collection of e-books and audio books, which can be accessed via our library catalogue which is found on the Schoolbox homepage. E-books and audio books can be read or listened to on any device at home. For our younger students, Storybox Library is a wonderful resource of online picture books which can also be accessed from home for all families to use. Access to Storybox Library is also via our library catalogue. Class teachers will be able to provide log in details.

We love getting to know the families of our students and encourage you to contact us if you have any queries, concerns, need assistance accessing e-books, audiobooks or Storybox Library or even want some reading suggestions for your children. We are here to help and look forward to meeting or hearing from you.
