2025 Carnival Dates
We are currently looking at carnival dates for 2025 in line with the current draft 2025 Armidale Diocesan Sporting calendar. We will communicate these dates with families once they have been booked.
Cross Country Carnival - Friday 14th March 2025 (Guyra)
Athletics Carnival - Thursday 19th June 2025 (Armidale)
2025 Swimming Carnival
On Friday 14th February 2025 we held our school Swimming Carnival at Guyra Swimming Pool. It was a very successful carnival and a lot of positive feedback was received. It was a great day and our young people showed great sportsmanship and pride for their school community.

Diocesan Swimming Carnival
On Friday 28th February 2025, our SMOTA Swimming Team will be competing at the Diocesan Swimming Carnival in Gunnedah. We wish our swimming team luck as they compete against all of the other primary schools in our diocese. Good luck!

Diocesan Winter Trials
Schools are invited to nominate students of a proficient skill level to the Diocesan Winter Trials (League, Netball, Hockey & Soccer) in Armidale on Friday, 7th March 2025. A Diocesan team will be selected in each sport to represent the Armidale Diocese at the Polding Trials in Bathurst on Friday, 2nd May 2025.
A Compass event form has been sent out to all Stage 3 students. If your child would like to nominate, please consent via Compass. Nominations close on Friday 21st February 2025. No late nominations will be accepted.
Cross Country Carnival
Communications for our upcoming Cross Country Carnival which is being held at the Guyra Showground on Friday 14th March 2025 have been sent out to families via Compass. Please ensure that you have provided consent for your child to attend the carnival.
Please note that presentations will be made at the end of the carnival.

Hugo Sisson
On Saturday 15th February 2025, Hugo completed in the Novice Sports Shear at the Glen Innes Show. It was great to see Hugo compete against a number of other competitors. Hugo should be very proud of his effort, in particular the efforts he made to make the final! Well done Hugo!
