Welcome Back

We have had a busy fortnight here at St Mary of the Angels, with our young people settling back into the routines of school life. Our young people should be proud of how they have engaged in their learning. Our dedicated staff have been working hard to ensure that our young people are set up for quality differentiated learning, using contemporary 21st century pedagogical practices to ensure that our young people are literate and numerate for a hope filled future.

As a staff, we continue our Professional Learning Agenda centred around our school Annual Improvement Plan with a focus on our first domain 'Strong Teams that Enhance Quality Teaching and Learning'. Teams are working on developing and implementing a strong Co-Teaching Framework within our learning spaces.

We look forward to continuing all of this work as we progress through 2025.

Years 1-6 Learner Led Conferences

This coming week our 'Learner Led' conferences begin with students in Stage 1 - Stage 3 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (24th - 26th February 2025) afternoons. The meetings provide a fantastic opportunity for students to discuss and reflect on their learning goals for the coming year with their teachers and parents.

Teachers are looking forward to the Learner Led Conference afternoons and thank you for your on-going support as they work to provide quality educational opportunities for your children.

If you have not yet booked an appointment for your child's Learner Led Conference, please contact the front office as soon as possible.
