Inquiry Centre

Highlight

The Inquiry Centre have settled into their routines and shown that they are ready to learn! This week, we started our Reading Rotations where students were excited to work in small groups to complete Reading tasks that consolidate their understanding of nouns and literal questions. Thank you to all families who have been supporting their child with their take home readers as well - we appreciate your efforts with the Yellow Journals too!

In Writing, we have been working on our Information Reports to share with our buddies. Students have been sharing important information that is 'all about them' whilst learning about the features of non-fiction texts. In Maths, our focus on Place Value has considered and we played 'Three in a Row' to practice reading and ordering numbers.

Well done to all the students in the Inquiry Centre for their hard work this week!
