Parents and Friends Association – who are we and how to join us

Thank you to all the new NMPS parents who came along for our first meeting of the 2025 school year. It was lovely to see new faces in the room and to meet you all, we welcome your enthusiasm and great ideas. We are already off and running with planning for upcoming community events for Term 1.  Mark your calendars!

Parents and Friends overview

Who are P&F? We are a small group of parent volunteers who organise fundraising and social activities that bring our school community together.

Who can join P&F? Anyone who cares about our school and is willing to help out with or lead activities and events.

What’s the commitment? Meetings are held monthly, usually on a Monday or Tuesday evening at a local venue near the school. Members can lead activities or provide support and assistance where possible/convenient. New members and ideas are always welcome! If you can’t attend the meetings, you are welcome to join our ‘keep in touch’ list and we’ll call on you to volunteer from time to time.

What’s in it for me? It’s a great way to get to know other members of the school community and feel connected to the school and your child’s education.  We are small, friendly group where you will feel welcome and valued.  Volunteering is rewarding!
