At Sacred Heart Primary School, we understand that supporting your child's wellbeing is a top priority. Our school is committed to working closely with parents and carers to create a nurturing environment for all students. We offer a range of support services and resources to help you navigate the challenges of parenting and to ensure your child thrives. Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Your Best.

Our school values of Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Your Best are the foundation of our school community. These values guide everything we do, from the classroom to the playground.

Be Safe means taking care of ourselves and others. It means following our expectations, being aware of our surroundings, and helping to create a safe environment for everyone.

Be Respectful means treating others with kindness and consideration. It means listening to others, valuing different perspectives, and respecting the property and belongings of others.

Be Your Best means striving to achieve our goals and reach our full potential. It means trying our hardest, learning from our mistakes, and celebrating our successes.

Our PBIS Blitz this fortnight is: ‘At Sacred Heart we do our best to keep our schoolyard clean. Be proud of where you learn and play, bin your rubbish every day!’

Every Day Matters!

Attending school every day is essential for students because it helps them build strong academic skills, develop good habits, and stay connected with their peers and teachers. Regular attendance ensures that students don’t miss important lessons, discussions, and activities that contribute to their learning and personal growth.

Missing school can have a major impact on a child’s future – a student missing one day a fortnight will miss four full weeks by the end of the year.

Coming to school every day is vital, but if for any reason your child must miss school, there are things we can do together to ensure they don’t fall behind:

· Speak with your child's classroom teacher and find out what work your child needs to follow up on or discuss any classroom concerns.

· Connect with our Wellbeing Leader, Learning Diversity Leader or School Principal to seek support or advice.

Remember, every day counts. If your child must miss school, speak with your child's classroom teacher as early as possible
