Iris, thank-you for your thoughtful input during our Friendology session. You drew a great picture showing what respectful friends do, like cheering each other up and sharing. You also show these qualities in the playground by looking after your friends. Keep up the great work!

Congratulations, Levana, on using your sounds and finger spaces to write a sentence expressing your opinion about the character Rot and whether he is the cutest in the world! Your perseverance and enthusiasm during Phonics shine through in both your reading and writing. Keep up the excellent work! 

Harry, well done on your persuasive writing about "Another Book About Bears." Your writing showed great thinking, strong reasons and was very convincing! Fantastic effort, and keep up the great work!

Levi, the effort you put into being a caring and compassionate peer is admirable! You worked on your facts about dogs with determination and made an amazing sign with your favourite fact! Keep on shining Levi! 

Well done, Usman, on showing great participation and enthusiasm during our visit to Cranbourne Gardens. You shared thoughtful answers during our education session and showed patience and excellent listening skills while waiting your turn to contribute. It was also wonderful to see you actively take part in making ochre paint and stamping your hand onto the wall.

Landon, well done on the genuine interest you displayed during our visit to Cranbourne Gardens last week. You listened respectfully during the education session and connected new information to your prior knowledge. You worked cooperatively with others to make ochre paint and created some wonderful indigenous symbols. Great work!

It is so fantastic that you are showing responsibility for your learning by asking what certain words mean. This is certainly something good learners do and will ensure your understanding and vocabulary is expanding. More often than not, there is someone else who also doesn't know but is too afraid to ask so well done on being brave!  

Maelynn, you contributed insightful ideas during our class discussion about how McDonald’s prepares its burgers for advertisements. You effectively used a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast a ‘real burger’ and an ‘ad burger’. You always apply your best effort to your learning - well done, Maelynn!

Congratulations Brodie on a week filled with confidence and great ideas! It was fantastic to see you enthusiastically shoot your hand up to share your Term 1 Holidays presentation. Your slides were engaging, and you answered the questions asked about the fascinating animals and skeletons you saw at the Melbourne Museum. Keep it up Brodie!
