Congratulations Ms Boggis

Congratulations to Vivian Boggis on the arrival of little Frankie, who was born on Good Friday, April 18th. We all look forward to meeting him.

Baby is happy, healthy and SO SO SO CUTE!  We have been calling him Frank the Tank because of his enormous appetite and impressive weight gains.

My recovery is going really well. I'm very blessed with the support of all the people I have in my village. We've got family and friends dropping by almost everyday to help out. Pete has taken the overnight 'shifts' a few times to let me get a full night's sleep. He's just been so amazing. He's taken to fatherhood like a duck to water and it's the most beautiful thing to watch. Even though we spend the majority of our time sterilising bottles and celebrating bowel movements, it feels like we're living the dream. I'm loving this newborn bubble we're in and I hope it doesn't burst anytime soon!

I'm really looking forward to bringing in our little man so you can meet him.

Hope you have a good start to the term, I'll see you all soon :)

Doris Blackburn Kindergarten visiting St Fidelis

The 4-year-old groups from Doris Blackburn Kindergarten, are visiting our school this week for a Robotics lesson in our STEM Space. Doris Blackburn Kindergarten is our main feeder kindergarten, and we have a long-standing relationship with them. Other neighbouring kindergartens will also visit our school in the coming weeks. Mr Frazzetto, Ms Wenckowski and some of our older students will assist the kindergarten children with a STEM activity.  We look forward to having the children at our school.

Winter Uniform

This week, all students should be in full winter uniform. If for any reason your child is not in their uniform, can you please email the teacher?

Winter Colds

At St Fidelis, we continue to use hygienic measures daily, such as hand sanitising before and after eating, washing hands after going to the toilet, using tissues and disposing of them in the bin after use and air purifiers are allocated in all areas of the school.

If your child is presenting with cold-like symptoms, it would be appreciated if you keep them home to ensure that germs are not spread in the classroom. If your child is sick at school and demonstrates any cold-like symptoms, parents will be called to come and pick up their child.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding with this request.
