What’s Been Happening in Visual Arts?
We’re now well into Term 2, and it’s been a wonderfully creative few weeks in Visual Arts!
Our Foundation students have been exploring autumn through printing and painting. They have also been learning that artworks can tell a story and they have created their own artwork that shows a special place.
Year 1/2 students are learning about seasonal changes and creating artwork inspired by the seasons.
Year 3/4 students have been designing posters about important rules and community values, using foam printing plates.
Meanwhile, Year 5/6 students are inspired by traditional Asian artforms and learning about printmaking techniques to create their own unique pieces.
A big thank you for the generous donations of materials to the art room – we’re excited to put these great resources to good use in our projects!
