EUREKA DIVISION CROSS COUNTRY

Miners Rest students performed exceptionally well in the Eureka Division cross-country event held at Federation University on Monday. Students demonstrated both incredible effort and resilience on the challenging course. Despite the tough terrain, they ran with determination with each runner giving their very best in near perfect weather conditions— sun shining and no wind.  

Their sportsmanship was equally impressive, as they not only encouraged one another but also showed respect and kindness to runners from other schools. Many thanks to all of the parents and friends that came to support our children and also Mr Bell, Alyson and Molly. The Miners Rest team made everyone proud with their performance, and their spirit of encouragement and teamwork was a highlight of the day.

Special congratulations goes to Isabelle C who finished 2nd, Ava D finishing 3rd and Archie G who finished 10th. We wish them all the very best in two weeks time when they compete in Warrnambool at the Greater Western Region Cross Country.
