Year 5 Camp Adventure

Last week, our Year 5 students headed off on an unforgettable camp experience packed with adventure, teamwork, and plenty of laughs. Set against a beautiful natural backdrop, the camp offered a chance for students to try new things, build friendships, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Throughout the week, students took part in a range of exciting activities, including the Flying Fox, Giant Swing, Crate Stack, and Canoeing. Each activity challenged them in different ways and encouraged cooperation, resilience, and confidence. The bushwalk gave everyone an opportunity to connect with nature and spot local wildlife—kangaroos, wallabies, and even one curious emu made an appearance!

One of the most memorable moments came in the evening, when students gathered around the campfire to roast marshmallows under the stars. It was a time for stories, laughter, and reflection after action-packed days.

The Year 5 camp was an incredible adventure full of lasting memories. A big thank you to the staff and volunteers for making it all happen!
