High Achievers Assembly
HSC High Achievers’ Assembly
The College community gathered together on Tuesday 6 February to celebrate the high achieving graduates from 2023.
This was an opportunity to acknowledge the cohort’s excellent results and to acclaim the individual students who achieved a mark over 90 in the HSC Examinations and were named as Distinguished All Rounders and Distinguished Achievers by NESA. Details of these outstanding HSC results were published on social media when they were released on 14 December.
Students who advised the College that they received an ATAR over 90 were acclaimed. The College does not have access to this information and relies on students to advise when they achieve a rank in excess of 90. It is therefore possible that there are other students who achieved an ATAR of 90 or more from the cohort and if this is the case, we offer them our congratulations as well. Congratulations to the following high achievers who were acclaimed at the Assembly:
𝗜𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘃
He achieved a Band 6 in Mathematics Advance and Mathematics Extension 1 and Studies of Religion I. Ivan received an ATAR of 91.45 and is planning on studying an Arts Degree at the University of Melbourne. Ivan was also the recipient of the 2024 Hansen Scholarship, the University of Melbourne’s most generous and broad-based undergraduate scholarship.
𝗘𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀
She achieved a Band 6 in English Advanced, Mathematics Extension 1 and PDHPE. Elora received an ATAR of 97.55 and will be studying Medicine at Monash University, Melbourne.
𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝘄
He achieved a Band 6 in Mathematics Extension 1 and Mathematics Extension 2, Modern History,Studies of Religion and Legal Studies.Joshua received an ATAR of 98.80 and will be studying Psychology and Politics at Australian National University, Canberra.
Joshua attained our highest ATAR of 98.80 and is the College Dux for 2023.
