Learning Community 2

In the last two weeks, our Reading has explored using our prior knowledge and developing skills in summarising; predicting the before, the during and the after events of a text; and using visualising skills to better understand a character or scene from a text. 

In Maths, we have explored place value; addition using split strategy and vertical addition; and subtraction using skip strategy and vertical subtraction. 

In Writing, we have planned, drafted and published narrative pieces. This week we drew burgers to write persuasive pieces about, highlighting why they are the best! 

Our achievers over the last fortnight have been:

3/4 X: 

Hayden for taking on challenging Math activities, and helping others.

Ava for being a great role model in class, always treating everyone with respect, and helping out when I can.

3/4 S:

Alex.M for being a hero for each of his classmates, sticking up for everyone and always putting kindness first. 

Tilly for being an absolute superstar in the classroom and showing resilience!
