Year 7 start

We are so pleased to have completed our Year 7 Library orientation program where students were introduced to our books and services.  Their behaviour and interaction with the library and its services were respectful and caring.

We were surprised to see some excited looks on the faces of our students when we mentioned that the library was open at lunchtime for students to catch up on work and finish any homework.  For a minute we thought maybe they had misunderstood what we said but in the week that followed, the library became filled with Year 7 students completing homework.  Mrs Mesquita was so impressed, she awarded the students recognition points and took photos.

Well done to our Year 7 students!

Clubs

We have begun our Book Club and Robotics Club.

Both clubs run in the library on Gold week Wednesday at lunchtime.

Students can bring their lunch with them.

Robotics club has grown with many more keen students wanting to join.

Book club still has spaces.  If you would like to join, please see Louise.

Homework club - our new days are:

Tuesday - N building

Thursday - Library

3.10pm to 4.10pm

This is staffed by our Tutors and students receive a small snack.
