Visit from Fire Rescue Victoria
We were very lucky to have some of our local firefighters visit to talk with us about all the people in our community who can help us to be safe. We looked at some interactive videos and practised how to "get down low, and go, go, go!"
They also explained all about the importance of having a safe meeting place where we live, so that if we ever need it, we know where a safe place to meet would be.
We then used this experience to start writing our very own recounts, including who was involved, when it happened, where it took place and what went on.
Our Local Community
In addition to many helpers such as the police, fire, ambulance and SES
in our local community, we also have access to a whole range of different services.
We talked about some of the categories of services that are available in the Frankston area such as health, entertainment, education, transport, food, shops and sports.
SRC Leaders
A big congratulations to the SRC representatives for our class - Joey & Emily.
