International Day of Maths is coming up on March 14th!

This year's theme is PLAYING WITH MATH.

It is all about celebrating mathematical games, puzzles and other entertaining activities, but also "playing" with mathematics itself, exploring, experimenting, and discovering.

Fun Fact! The International Day of Maths is also called Pi day, as the date can be written as 3.14!

Here are a few games you can play at home!

Here are links to videos explaining how to play the games!

Kangourou sans Frontières (KSF)

The KSF is coming upon us once again! This is an amazing opportunity for students from grade 3-6 to demonstrate their mathematics skills. Any student can apply! It is a fantastic ways for students to challenge themselves!

The KSP is now the largest maths competitions in the world, with more than 6 million participants each year. Held in March, the KSF is a great opportunity for students to experience maths in a competition environment prior to the AMC (Australian Maths Competition) in August.

More information will come to families over the next couple of weeks!
