From the Principal's Desk

It's Gone!
It's gone!
Where am I going to work?
It’s been a big week of demolition on site, with the old structure now completely removed! The children have been fascinated watching the machinery in action — it’s been an exciting and engaging part of their school day.
We’re now looking forward to the next stages of the building program as the site is prepared for construction. Stay tuned for more updates as we move into this exciting phase of development!
Sibling Enrolments for 2026
A friendly reminder to families:
If you have a child starting school in 2026, please remember to submit an enrolment application.
You can apply online via the following link
https://www.cckingsville.catholic.edu.au/enrolment-information/enrol-now/
Enrolment forms are also available to collect from the school office.
If you know of other families still to enrol their child in Year Prep next year, please ask them to contact Laura or Debbie in the office to arrange a school school tour.
A Note on Behaviour Matters: Letting the School Lead
We kindly ask that parents allow the school to manage all student behaviour matters directly. While it’s natural to want to understand and respond to your child’s experiences, we respectfully request that parents do not contact other parents or speak to other children about behavioural incidents.
These situations can be complex. Understandably, children may present a version of events shaped by emotion or what they believe adults want to hear. When second-, third-, or even fourth-hand stories start circulating, the facts can easily become distorted, and misunderstandings can escalate. This can lead to students being unfairly labelled, which is neither helpful nor healthy.
For the well-being of all children, we kindly request that any concerns be reported directly to the school, where they can be addressed in a confidential and appropriate manner.
Please also remember that the consequences other students receive will not be shared, as we are committed to respecting the privacy and dignity of all children. We encourage parents to communicate this to their own children as well — it's important that they understand the school handles behaviour fairly and privately for everyone.
This is also a good opportunity to review our Parent/Guardian/Carer Code of Conduct, which emphasises the importance of behaving with respect, courtesy, and consideration for others. By working together in a spirit of trust and cooperation, we can maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all.
Thank you for supporting a calm, respectful approach to school life, where all children are given the chance to grow and learn from their experiences.
Staffing Update
With Mrs Molluso commencing maternity leave, Mrs Stephanie Stedman has been appointed to the role of Student Wellbeing Leader, in addition to her current position as Learning Diversity Leader. We congratulate Mrs Stedman on her expanded leadership role, which reflects her dedication and expertise in supporting student needs across the school.

Socks and Jocks
Could we ask that all families place a spare pair of underpants and socks/tights in a plastic bag in their child's bag for those unforeseen accidents that occur at school? Please inform your child about the location of these items so that they can be accessed when needed. While we keep a small supply on hand, they always seem to need replenishing.
Have a wonderful week.
God Bless
