Lockdown Drill
Yesterday, we held a lockdown drill to practise the steps we would take in the event of an emergency. Students and staff responded calmly and followed instructions well. These drills are an important way to make sure everyone knows what to do if a real situation were to occur.
Winter Jumpers
With the colder weather setting in, we encourage all students to wear their school jumpers to stay warm. More importantly, please ensure that your child’s name is clearly labelled on their jumper. We’ve had a number of jumpers left around the school that we haven’t been able to return because they were not named.
Behaviour Matrix
As previously mentioned we have been working on our Behaviour Matrix at Albion North over the last few weeks and we are excited to showcase our newly developed school-wide behaviour matrix.
This matrix outlines the expected behaviours in each area of the school, based on our school values. We encourage you to take some time to read through it, discuss it with your child, and ask them what they’ve been learning about these expectations at school.
This is a working document that will continue to evolve, and we welcome input from all members of the school community throughout the year.
