Principal's Report
Creativity & Endeavour. Respect, Inclusion, Resilience
Please note that we have needed to change the date of our upcoming curriculum day (student-free day). The curriculum day will now occur on Friday July 25. TeamKids will be available for full day bookings. The change of date was necessary due to the changed availability of a presenter we have booked to work with staff on this day. Monday July 21 will now be a regular school day.
Following this curriculum day, we have one remaining date in the calendar for our final curriculum day, a report-writing day on Monday November 3, the day before the Melbourne Cup public holiday.
Thank you for your understanding and our apologies for any inconvenience this change of date may cause.
My thanks to Stephen Roche for stepping up as Acting Principal as I take some leave for the final two weeks of this school term. Ably supported by our Admin staff and the Leadership Team, I know Steve will do a great job of keeping things running smoothly as we head towards the mid-year break.
I look forward to seeing all of our wonderful students and families at the beginning of Term 3!
We have a few shuffles in our specialist and support staff timetable next term. Erin Cheung is returning from a period of leave to recommence her role as Performing Arts teacher. Our sincere thanks to Lena Zappia for her outstanding work in this role in terms one and two.
Speaking of Lena, she will be teaming up with Katrina Cassidy in the art room from the beginning of next term. Katrina is continuing her Art Therapy program on Tuesdays and teaching art on Wednesday and Thursday, with Lena teaching art on Fridays.
We're also welcoming Claudia Collins back from parental leave for one day per week from the beginning of next term, supporting classes with some leadership release for teachers with leadership roles.
A reminder that any families that made donations to our Building Fund or Library Fund can claim these contributions as tax deductions. If you refer to our Parent Payments document, the breakdown of each of the charges explains which ones are tax deductible: https://robmacps.vic.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/2025-Parent-Contribution.pdf
