Cultural Exchange – Host Families

Early next term we will again welcome a delegation of students from Sanshui Foreign Languages School BFSU. This visit is the second made by students and staff from Sanshui, and continues to strengthen the relationship between our two schools. On our recent China tour, College students visited Sanshui and spent an engaging and enjoyable time at the school.

To facilitate this return visit, and to enhance the experience of our visitors, we are seeking families who would be willing to host two Sanshui students at their home for three nights, from Wednesday 23 July, dropping the students back to the College on Saturday 26 July for a farewell BBQ, to which host families are also invited.

On each day students will go home with their College homestay buddies, spend the evening at their hosts’ house and return to school the next morning with their buddy. Host families will asked to:

  • provide suitable accommodation and bedding for two students
  • provide evening meals and breakfast for three nights / mornings.

All College families are able to host, regardless of their own child or children’s year level. This is a fabulous opportunity for cultural exchange and enrichment, and I hope that you will consider hosting two of our visitors.
