Education in Faith

Education in Faith encompasses the following areas: Religious Education, Prayer, Liturgy and Sacraments.

Loving God,

As we come to the end of this term,

we thank You for all we have learned for the friendships we have made,

and for the moments that brought joy, growth, and challenge.

Thank You for guiding our steps, for helping us learn more about You,

about each other, and about ourselves.

Bless our school community as we take time to rest and refresh.

Keep us safe over the holidays, and help us return renewed in mind, body, and spirit.

May we carry the light of Your love wherever we go.

Amen.

Celebrating the Year 1/2 Faith Night

Thank you to all the parents and children who attended the 1/2CW and 1/2VS Faith Night last Thursday evening. It was wonderful to see so many families come together to share in this special experience.

Our presenter, Pauline Cicutto, led a reflective and engaging session focusing on the importance of prayer and the diverse ways in which people experience and understand God. Pauline encouraged rich discussion and shared how different images and understandings of God in prayer can deepen our spiritual connection.

We look forward to welcoming families from 1/2NA and 1/2OB to their Faith Night on Thursday 28th August. For those who were unable to attend last week, this will be a great opportunity to take part in this meaningful evening. Further information will be sent home closer to the date.

St Vinnies Winter Appeal – Let’s Make a Difference Together

It’s that time of year again when we come together as a school community to support the St Vinnies Winter Appeal. This appeal provides essential food, warm clothing, and other necessities to people who are doing it tough. Each year, our generous community makes a big impact – and this year, we’re hoping to do the same. Our Social Justice Leaders, along with the Year 6 cohort, will be taking on the important role of collecting, sorting, and preparing all donated goods for distribution.

Each learning space has a collection basket, and donations can also be dropped off at the front of the library.

A big thank you to Erica and Gemma, our Social Justice Leaders, for designing a thoughtful and creative poster to raise awareness about the appeal and why it matters. Let’s work together to make this year’s Winter Appeal our best yet. Every donation counts – together, we can make a real difference.

The following goods are recommended for donation.
