Week 11 Term 2

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding term, I want to sincerely thank our school community for your continued support, involvement, and partnership. Together, we create a strong, caring environment where our students can thrive. Wishing you all a safe and restful holiday break.

Parent/Student/Teacher Learning Conversations

This week, we look forward to welcoming families for the Year 3–6 Learning Conversations. These conversations are a valuable opportunity to celebrate each child’s progress, share insights, and strengthen the partnership between home and school.

Thank You – Parent & Child Faith Night

Thank you to all the families who joined us for our Parent & Child Faith Night. Your presence and participation made the evening very  special. It was a beautiful opportunity to pause, reflect, and share in our faith journey together. These evenings strengthen our sense of community and remind us of the deep connection between home, school, and parish.

A Big Thank You

I would like to say a big thank you to Giancarlo Masini (Olivia, 5/6MC and Alessandro’s 3/4BP, dad), co-owner of the Tiamo Italian Restaurant in 303 Lygon St, Carlton

A couple of weeks ago, Signora Rosa organised an excursion to the Museo Italiano in Carlton and as a treat at the end, she organised with Giancarlo if he could assist with catering for the lunch, which he kindly agreed to do. Each child had pizza margherita and gelato for lunch, which he has now generously asked for no payment from the school. This is such a kind and generous gesture by him and one that needs to definitely be acknowledged 👏

We are very lucky here at St Fidelis to have such kind and generous families. Again, a huge thankyou to Giancarlo and his staff and if you are ever in the Carlton area, especially during the coming holidays, pop in and say hi to Giancarlo and maybe have a bite to eat or a coffee.
