Sydney North Dance Festival
We are thrilled to share that our students from the Lyrical, Jazz and Freestyle dance groups had an amazing time at the Sydney North Dance Festival! Each group brought their unique style to the stage, showcasing a fantastic variety of dance. All groups performed with incredible energy and enthusiasm. Their professionalism and good behaviour backstage truly stood out and they should be extremely proud of their efforts. A huge thank you to Ms Phillips, Ms Little, Ms James and Ms Tulich for attending the festival with their dance groups and for their creative choreography.
We can’t wait to see their final performances tonight—let’s cheer them on as they shine!
Costumes: Please return all costumes in their provided bag to Miss Tulich in Lizard 2 on Monday so we can keep them safe for performing in the Dragon Boat Festival next Friday 27 June.
Dragon Boat Festival
All dance groups will be performing in the Dragon Boat Festival next Friday 27 June.
Jazz, Lyrical and Freestyle dance groups will need to come to school with their hair done the same as it was for Sydney North Dance Festival and students will change into their costumes at school. Please bring any jazz shoes, foot thongs or tights required.
Stage 1 Dance Group and Stage 1 Chinese Dance groups please keep an eye out for further costuming information from your child's dance teachers.
Save the Date: Performing Arts Showcase 2025
Our Lyrical Dance, Jazz Dance and Freestyle Dance groups will feature in the Performing Arts Showcase 2025, an evening recognising the work of these senior dance groups and the senior music choirs and music instrument ensembles. The Performing Arts Showcase 2025 takes place on Wednesday 27 August, 6:00pm at The Concourse Chatswood (Term 3 Week 6). Details regarding the Showcase will be sent to families in early Term 3.
We are excited also to be featuring the Stage 1 Dance and Stage 1 Chinese Dance Groups in our Junior Performing Arts Showcase, to be held in the School Hall on a future date. Please stay tuned for the date and details for the Junior Showcase, to celebrate the work of our amazing dancers.
