Athletics Carnival

On Monday 16 June we had a fantastic day at our school Athletics Carnival! The day began with our 1500m runners taking to the track amidst a chilly morning, with frost still visible on the grass as they got underway.

Throughout the day, we witnessed some incredible performances, particularly in the 100m and 200m events, which featured some thrilling close finishes. The field events also showcased a variety of skills, with our long jump and high jump competitions generating great excitement as many students participated enthusiastically. The throwing events, including shot put and discus, were another highlight, with students demonstrating impressive strength.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our dedicated teachers who worked tirelessly to ensure the event ran smoothly. Congratulations to all students for their achievements and participation! Final results, including the much-anticipated house point scores, will be tallied after the conclusion of the 800m event in the coming weeks.
