Shout outs!

What a glorious afternoon we enjoyed on Friday at the Winter Solstice celebration! It was lovely to hear the buzz of people getting together, to see folks gathered around fires, music and lantern making, and to watch the lantern parade process around the oval at the end of the evening. 

Huge thanks to everyone who helped out: students Asher, Jasmine, Charlotte, Sonny, Ned, Evelyn and Lenny. Some students helped from 2:30-5pm - a super effort! Adult/teen helpers included Imogen Jubb, Alice Beattie, Ned Treasure, Kristy-Lee Tyrell, Celia Dickinson, Sam Sowerwine, Pete Heilmann, Tomoko Matsunaga, Susie Ward, Wida, Aline Poh, Sarah Purcell, Anna Cook and Nat Forde. Extra special shout out to the organising committee who put the whole event together: Brigid Morgan, Jane Eckett, Tess and Joel Hallinan, Linda Reiling, Lucy Knox and Anne Treasure. Apologies to anyone we missed! 

Trivia tickets COMING SOON! 

It’s official - the theme for the trivia night this year is “Winter Wonderland”. Get out your woolies, gather your table, and look out for tickets on sale soon! Tables will be in teams of 10, so get your friends together or be ready to join an open table and meet some new folk!

We would like to invite anyone who can make it to have a final coffee at Sprout on Friday 4th July to celebrate the amazing Kris, who has contributed so much to the community spirit and culture of BNWPS.
