Yakai Barring Bush Playgroup

An all-weather outdoor play group in BNWPS’ Yakai Barring native garden.

Preschool kids of all ages are welcome accompanied by their grown up.

Starting in Term 3 on Friday the 25th of July, we will meet on Fridays from 9.30-11am during the school term.

You may want to arrive at 9-9.15am so you can grab a hot drink (BYO ‘keep cup’ or similar) and snack from Sprout before making your way down to Yakai Barring to play.

Please enter and exit the school via the front office on Culloden Street, remembering to sign in and sign out.

Aims:

1 - encourage unstructured play

2 - play outdoors in all weather

3 - be adventurous; let children assess risks and gain independence

4 - welcome all; babies to school age and their grown ups

5 - love and care for the environment; look after this special site and foster connections to nature
